ACTIVE SUBWOOFER THUMP – 8 ( 8 ” SLIM SUBWOOFER )

  • THIS SUWBOOFER IS IDEALLY SUITED FOR APPLICATIONS IN SMALL BEDROOMS , CAFES, FINE DINE RESTAURANTS, SALONS , ETC. .

  • 1. Volume Level Control Knob: This knob controls the overall volume of the woofer.
  • 2. Low Pass Filter Control Knob: This rotary control adjusts a variable low pass filter to set the upper frequency at which the output of the subwoofer begins to roll-off Continuously variable from 50Hz, it matches the upper frequency characteristics of the subwoofer to the low frequency response of the main stereo speakers.
  • 3. Phase Toggle Switch: Depending on the location of your subwoofer, the sound that reaches your ideal listening location could be out of phase with the sound from the rest of the system. If the bass sound iS out of timing, muddy or attenuated, try flipping the phase switch to the other position. The default, which will provide the best bass sound most of the time, is with the phase set to 0 degree
  • 4. Power mode: Controls the power status of the subwoofer. ON-Turn the units on regardless of whether a signal is present or not. AUTO-The unit will power on if signal is detected and power off when no signal is detected
  • 5. RCA Phono Jacks: These accept a line level full range signal from the pre-amplifier output of a receiver or preamplifier. This full range signal is processed and amplified to power the subwoofer. Use left OLO input if using LFE output from Audio Video Receiver.
  • 6. Power Switch: Use this switch to turn the subwoofer ON or OFF If you are using AUTO stand-by feature, this switch should be lef in the ON position.
  • 7. Speaker Level In: lf your amplifier lacks both a dedicated subwooter output or preamplifier outputs, connect the stereo speaker outputs on your amplifier to the SPEAKER LEVEL IN inputs using 2 speaker wires (not included)
  • 8. Fuse: For continued protection and reliable operation, always replace burnt out fuses with the same type and size listed
